Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a CVICU position requiring 18 months of recent CVICU experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in the CVICU unit of a hospital setting
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Rotating day/night shifts on a 3x12 schedule (7:00 PM-7:30 AM or 7:00 AM-7:30 PM)
  • Shifts may vary to meet operational needs of the hospital
  • Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

  • , currently in hand (Ohio permanent or Compact)
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA or American Red Cross)
  • 18 months of combined permanent experience in CVICU required
  • 18 months of recent CVICU experience required (travel experience accepted)
  • One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Provide critical care nursing support to cardiovascular ICU patients
  • ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, requiring a passing score
  • PBDS assessment is waived for this position
  • Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
  • Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
  • Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
  • Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
