Night shift position, 18:45–07:15
15-bed Critical Care Unit serving some of the most critically ill patients in the Nashville area
Patient population includes cardiac surgery, cardiac transplant, MI, CHF, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, post-cardiopulmonary arrest, and post-ventricular assist device placement
Major service lines include cardiothoracic surgery (open heart recovery) and neuro/neurosurgery
ICU-level care provided for complex cases including ECMO
Patients range in age from adolescent through late adult (ages 14+)
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2
Direct patient care team includes RNs and Patient Care Techs
13-week contract

Requirements

Active TN or Compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience required
Current BLS certification (AHA) required
Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
Driver's License required for consideration
Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

Care for high-acuity patients receiving cardiothoracic surgery recovery, neuro/neurosurgery, and advanced cardiac interventions including ECMO
Local candidates are eligible to apply; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
