Job Summary:
Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking skilled and dedicated CT Technologists to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in computed tomography and general radiography, with a passion for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans and general X-ray procedures as per physician orders.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, explaining the process to patients and addressing any concerns.
- Operate imaging equipment and assess image quality, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and related data.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging protocols and patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards in the imaging department.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in California.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT technology and 2 years of experience in healthcare/medical general X-ray.
- Previous experience as a Sonographer with general ultrasound and vascular experience is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in imaging technology is desirable.
- Previous travel experience in healthcare settings is a plus.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
