HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in New York, New York.

Title: CT Technologist – Contract
Location: New York, NY
Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital (MSH)
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM / 40hrs per week
Experience:Minimum 2 years of hospital-based Radiology experience as a CT Technologist
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures according to prescribed protocols.
- Select appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce quality diagnostic images.
- Complete daily equipment quality control and calibration checks before patient studies.
- Administer contrast/radiopharmaceutical agents according to physician orders and department protocols.
- Verify the activity level and proper receipt of radiopharmaceutical doses.
- Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day prior to use.
- Maintain required logs, documentation, charge records, and equipment reports.
- Perform quality control, quality assurance, and safety testing.
- Follow ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) radiation-safety principles.
- Maintain and retrieve patient images/electronic records for Radiologist interpretation.
- Assess and respond appropriately to patient needs before, during, and after CT procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
- New York State LRT License required.
- ARRT Certification required.
- 2 years of recent hospital Radiology experience specifically working as a CT Technologist — REQUIRED.
