Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform CT procedures according to established protocols while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and regulatory compliance. This overnight position may also require performing X-ray procedures.
 
Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to prescribed protocols.
• Operate CT equipment using appropriate kV and mA techniques.
• Perform daily equipment calibration and quality-control checks.
• Administer contrast/radiopharmaceutical agents according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and the ALARA principle.
• Maintain accurate patient records, logs, documentation, and charge information.
• Perform quality assurance, quality control, and safety checks.
• Identify and report equipment issues.
• Maintain and retrieve patient imaging for radiologist interpretation.
• Perform X-ray procedures when required during overnight shifts.
• Assess and respond appropriately to patient needs before, during, and after procedures.

• Graduate of a JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License (LRT).
• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience.
• CT injection/contrast administration experience required.
• Strong knowledge of CT protocols, radiation safety, quality control, and documentation.
• English proficiency required.
