Technologist - CT Technologist at Confluence Health Hospital-Central Campus (Wenatchee, WA)

Shift: • E/N • 3, 12’s • 36 hr weeks • 1900-0730

The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 1900-0730 (3x12-hour shifts). There is no call requirement associated with this position.

Required: • ARRT certification • Washington State certification as radiologic technologist, registered in X Ray and CT. • Shimadzu portable experience • Rad speed pro, GE/OEC c arms with OR experience, Toshiba CT scanner experience • EPIC experience • BLS certifications

Job Functions: • Prepares for and performs all examinations while operating assigned equipment in a safe manner as instructed. • Evaluates diagnostic image for technical quality. • Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for the effective utilization of the scanner. • Maintains the cleanliness of the scanner and associated minor equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures. • Performs IV access, using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision. • Understands and follows all universal blood and body substance precautions and personal protective equipment requirements. • Complies with all continuing education requirements as dictated by regulatory entities. • Utilizes current EMR efficiently and completes required paperwork for each examination performed. • Lifts and transfers patients using safe ergonomic technique and utilizes the hydraulic lift or other safe patient handling devices. • Communicates with the patient's family members or caregivers when necessary.
