Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) imaging in a healthcare facility. This position involves performing routine and specialized CT procedures to produce high-quality images for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role requires exercising independent judgment, maintaining patient safety, and adhering to all relevant regulations and protocols to deliver optimal patient care. The opportunity is for a contract starting on October 5, 2026, and ending on January 4, 2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California (CA) Radiologic Technologist (CRT) licensure, CA venipuncture licensure, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, at least 1 year of experience in CT imaging.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Not applicable.
- Additional Information: Competently performs routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures, working independently and with sound judgment. Must demonstrate effective patient assessment, monitoring, and communication skills. Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure privacy and safety. The role may include providing orientation to new staff or performing specific procedures as needed.
- Submittal Requirements: Valid CA licensure uploaded within the last 2 weeks, applicable certifications with valid expiration dates, two references obtained within the past year.
- Compliance & Onboarding: Complete all required labs within 3-5 days of contract signing; provide a 7-year work history verification; all compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date.
- Other: This assignment requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a CT setting; RTOs are limited to 7 days per contract, with specific holiday RTO policies applicable.
