Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift, from 10/19/2026 to 01/16/2027, with minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program; NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License; ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; at least 2 years of experience in CT.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and radiological positioning of the human body.
  • Understanding mechanical attributes of CT software and hardware.
  • Thorough knowledge of PACS system.
  • Maintains continuing education credits and achieves ARRT (CT) certification within twelve months of hire.
  • Team members must achieve ARRT (CT) certification within the twelve months following their hire date.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within three months of hire date.
  • Performs complex CT procedures using professional judgment.
  • Prepares and reviews patient clinical history and contrast questionnaires.
  • Identifies and administers contrast media as prescribed.
  • Reviews prescriptions for accuracy, contacts physicians for clarifications, and verifies insurance authorizations.
  • Obtains outside studies and schedules in EPIC.
  • Provides exam copies to patients and physicians.
  • Evaluates radiographs using PACS System to ensure diagnostic quality.
  • Ensures patient safety by preparing the patient for scans, including shielding and immobilization, and monitors for adverse reactions.
  • Performs venipuncture, IV maintenance, and monitors patient condition during procedures.
  • Adheres to policies related to attendance, punctuality, and safety.
  • Lifts minimum of 25 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 50 lbs., and stands for at least 6 hours daily.
  • Represents the organization professionally and modifies care to meet diverse patient needs.
  • Must work scheduled shifts including holidays; overtime and on-call assignments as needed.
  • No float requirement; no on-call requirement.
