The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist position located in Big Sky, MT, involves delivering high-quality CT and X-Ray examinations to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The role requires the independent performance of CT and X-Ray procedures in outpatient and inpatient settings, with a focus on maintaining attention to detail, operational efficiency, and patient care. The position is scheduled for dayshift hours with a flexible schedule supporting a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Dayshift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent, with documented competencies in Radiology and CT; Montana Licensure (Radiologic Technologist); American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced certification in CT; American Heart Association BLS; Two (2) years of radiology experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor degree in health care related studies
  • Essential Job Functions: Performs quality CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures; operates independently with high attention to detail; assists medical staff during exams; completes accurate documentation; retrieves relevant health information to ensure timely exam performance and reporting; maintains confidentiality and demonstrates sound judgment
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality; works successfully in busy and stressful environments; learns and adapts to new computer applications and equipment; possesses strong communication skills; analyzes and prioritizes workflow effectively
  • Physical Requirements: Repeatedly lifts up to 50 pounds, stands, walks, twists, bends, reaches above shoulder level, pushes/pulls, and performs fine-finger movements; performs continuous visual and cognitive tasks; may handle potentially infectious materials and radiation exposure
  • Additional Information: Facility reserves the right to cancel three (3) shifts per 13-week contract in the event of low census or unforeseen circumstances; candidate must reside at least 90 miles away from the facility
