Job Description

We are seeking a qualified CT Technologist to join our pediatric imaging team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess excellent communication skills to provide a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging examinations on pediatric patients aged 0-18 years.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain high standards of safety and comfort for pediatric patients during procedures.
• Ensure the production of high-quality images while adhering to established protocols.
• Assist in coordinating patient care and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a CT technologist role; pediatric experience preferred.
• Current ARRT certification in CT and BLS certification.
• Valid Washington state license for CT.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with children and their parents.

Work Schedule

The work schedule may include weekend rotations depending on the shift taken. Limited on-call hours may be required, primarily during weekends, not exceeding 24 hours per month.

• Parking: Free garage and street parking available; local light rail may be a preferred option for difficult parking situations.
• Facility Overview: 152 total beds including 70 NICU beds, located in a newly built trauma facility in Tacoma, WA.
• Technology/Equipment: Siemens Definition Edge and Biograph mct flow edge (PET/CT scanner).
