• Setting: Hospital-based Computed Tomography (CT) / Diagnostic Imaging
• Employment Type: Travel CT Technologist assignment
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, weekday overnight coverage
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,830 - $3,040
• Additional Scheduling Notes: On-call, callback, and holiday coverage as needed by unit requirements
• Location: Rochester, NY

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Completion of formal training from an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Active NYS licensure required prior to start
• Current ARRT certification
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association only
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Siemens scanner experience required
• Epic experience highly desired
• Injection certification preferred, with willingness to complete during orientation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Patient-focused, compassionate, and team-oriented approach

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification before beginning each CT scan
• Coordinate with physicians and the healthcare team to support accurate diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for procedures and clearly explain the CT scan process
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing and contrast administration
• Position patients safely, including assisting with lifting or moving patients with limited mobility
• Follow safe patient handling practices and department safety standards
• Document all required information in EPIC
• Ensure images are correctly identified and sent to PACS after each exam
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe scanning environment
