Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT registration for a night shift assignment.

Details

• Hospital-based CT Scan department
• Night 12-hour shifts, Sunday-Tuesday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Uses Siemens scanners
• Performs CT procedures and assists with biopsies and drainage procedures

Requirements

• Active Maryland license required if applicable
• ARRT registration required
• Current CPR certification required
• Associate's degree in radiology technology or closely related field required
• Minimum of 6 months of previous experience required
• At least 2 full years of experience and completion of one travel assignment required

Additional Information

• Interact with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff throughout procedures
• Counsel patients on the radiographic procedures to be performed
• Secure patient consent for intravenous injections
• Position patients on equipment and operate the scanner and related equipment
• Experience at a comparably sized facility may be required based on assignment
