Job Summary:
Radiology Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) in a Level II trauma facility. This position involves performing CT scans on inpatient, outpatient, and emergent patients using GE CT equipment, with an emphasis on trauma patient care. The role requires working nights from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week from October 5, 2026, to January 4, 2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, licensed to submit, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience working with trauma patients, experience with GE CT machines, and current ARRT-CT certification preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: ARRT-CT certification.
- Additional Information: The department has 4 GE CT scanners2 in inpatient, 1 in outpatient connected to the facility, and 1 in the emergency department. The role includes performing approximately 12-14 outpatient scans, about 10 procedures on one machine daily, and approximately 40 scans in the ED across shifts. The position involves minimal call and no float requirements. Department orientation lasts 1 week, with consistent oversight from a Radiology supervisor or Lead Tech. The institution has in-house radiologists during the day, with on-call availability after hours. The candidate should be prepared for potential trauma patient interaction and familiar with Epic and McKesson EMR/PACS systems. Scrubs are provided.
