Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Lafayette, Colorado.
Job Title: CT Tech
Job Summary:
The CT Tech performs a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. This position requires ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgment to perform high-quality scans.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrates understanding of sectional anatomy, anatomic terminology, and positioning competency.
- Proficiency in operating CT equipment with a strong understanding of CT imaging techniques and protocols.
- Knowledge and understanding of protocols relating to contrast administration, including contrast injector operation as applicable.
- Proficiency with electronic imaging, including the ability to view, transfer, and manipulate images.
- Ability to recognize emergent patient situations and respond appropriately.
- Ability to function independently and as part of a team.
- Effective interaction and communication with other caregivers and patients.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) – Two (2) years of CT experience.
- One (1) – Two (2) years of experience in a healthcare setting.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R).
- Licensure in the state of practice as applicable.
Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
- Certified Computed Tomography Technologist - American Registry of Radiography Technologists ARRT (R)(CT).
- Fluoroscopy certification (for caregivers hired in this role in the State of Colorado).
Required Education:
- Associate degree.
