Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift CT Technologist with 36+ months of CT experience and Level II trauma exposure for a hospital-based role in Des Moines, IA.

Details

• CT Scan department within a hospital setting
• Monday-Thursday night shift, 9:30 PM-7:00 AM, 40 hrs/week
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• May float across campuses including Iowa Lutheran, Methodist West, and Iowa Methodist Medical Center
• Works with all age groups depending on shift
• Utilizes Siemens CT and GE CT equipment
• Uses power injection contrast injectors
• Charts in Epic
• Holiday rotation required unless unit is closed

Requirements

• Minimum of 36 months of CT experience required, with hospital/medical center experience prioritized
• Proficient experience with Siemens CT equipment required; GE CT experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with power injection contrast injectors required
• Level II trauma experience required; recent Level I trauma experience highly preferred
• Recent stroke imaging experience required
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Active IA radiology license highly preferred; license required if applicable
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Professional reference from a supervisor/manager within the last 24 months preferred

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging procedures across a variety of age groups and clinical needs
• Charcoal gray scrubs required
• Must work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
• Local candidates not accepted; all candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are restricted from working travel assignments at other UPH market facilities per employee separation policy
