Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to perform CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures, requiring ARRT registration and RT licensure in the state of practice.

Details

CT Scan unit within a hospital setting
Variable shift schedule with start times including 6:30 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, 3:00 PM, 10:00 PM, and 11:00 PM
Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images

Requirements

ARRT registration as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) required
RT license required in state of practice, if applicable
BLS certification required
Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment
Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
Advanced certification in CT modality preferred in CA

Additional Information

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatric populations
Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
Ensure image and data integrity while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
