CT Technologist

About this Position

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing various computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures. The role requires working a 4x10 hour shift from Monday to Thursday, with night hours from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM. This position includes a holiday rotation and may require floating to sister facilities as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Perform CT scans and assist in the diagnosis of patient conditions.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
Maintain and operate CT imaging equipment, including Siemens systems.
Document and report results accurately in electronic health records.
Participate in all staff meetings and unit activities.

Qualifications

Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months in a Level 1 trauma setting required.
Certifications/Licenses Required:
- BLS
- ARRT RT (R) (CT)
- SCRQSA (R) (CT)
Additional Experience Required: Experience with intravenous lines (PIV), Siemens equipment, and Level 1 trauma environments.
Radiation Badge: Must be provided by the agency; facility does not supply radiation badges for travelers.

Radius Rule: 60 miles
Local Candidates: Accepted on a case-by-case basis with a rate adjustment.
Pending State License: Not accepted; must have a valid license at the time of start.
RTO Restrictions: All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application; approval is based on unit needs.
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may cancel 1 shift every 2 weeks.
