Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is based in an imaging services department specializing in computed tomography (CT) and general radiography. The role involves performing a variety of imaging exams for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations, utilizing advanced equipment and adhering to departmental protocols. Candidates will work on a night shift schedule, providing essential imaging services in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification as a CT Technologist - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in CT; Radiologic Technologist - ARRT; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 1 year of experience in CT and X-ray modalities; valid license to submit; location outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prefer experience with Siemens CT and X-ray equipment, knowledge of protocols and doctor preferences, and experience with EPIC EMR and McKesson/Change Healthcare PACS systems.
  • Additional Information: The department performs diverse imaging studies including ER, inpatient, outpatient exams, stroke certification, trauma, and limited inpatient procedures. Department-specific equipment includes Philips and Siemens systems. Orientation lasts 1-3 days, extendable if needed. Candidates may be required to float temporarily to other imaging areas for coverage.
