Job Summary:
CT Technologist in an acute care hospital setting. This position involves working in a very busy department with high-volume, fast-paced environment that primarily serves ED patients. The role requires the ability to operate Toshiba and GE scanners independently, perform contrast procedures, and manage high patient throughput efficiently.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/20/2026 and ending on 01/19/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license; at least 0 years of experience as a CT Technologist; certifications including ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in CT and R (Radiography), BLS (Basic Life Support), and CA CRT (California Certified Radiologic Technologist).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult acute care, emergency department procedures, and high-volume CT scans; familiarity with GE and Toshiba imaging equipment; ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Additional Information: Must be open to working a rotating 12-hour shift, including weekends and major holidays. Candidates should be flexible for minor schedule adjustments based on unit needs. The department mainly handles ED and outpatient cases and involves managing multiple high-stakes procedures such as contrast studies and trauma imaging.
