Job Summary:
CT Technologist position available in a healthcare facility located in Presque Isle, Maine. This position involves providing computed tomography (CT) imaging services in a busy hospital setting with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations, as well as some pediatric cases. The role requires working a rotating schedule, including weekends, with shift hours typically from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on the assigned days.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shifts with typical hours of 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/26/2026 and ending on 01/23/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT (R) CT certification, Maine State License, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of CT experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CTA studies, general radiology studies, with highly preferred experience in OR/C-arm and fluoroscopy procedures.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required, with potential to float between CT and X-ray departments, including the OR and bedside portables.
  • Additional Information: The facility offers a 1 to 1.5-week orientation based on the candidate's comfort level. Support within the department includes lead technologists, internal transport, and radiologists available on-site three days a week and remotely for additional reading. The role uses Cerner EMR, and imaging equipment includes Siemens, GE, Phillips, and Cannon units, with digital radiography and portable imaging options available.
  • Patient Types: Outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, and ICU patients, primarily adult and geriatric, with some pediatric cases.
