Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is located in an outpatient clinic setting. The role involves performing computed tomography procedures, including starting IVs, injecting contrast, and post-processing images. The facility primarily serves mobile patients, with a focus on follow-up cancer diagnostic imaging. The assignment is set to start on 10/12/2026 and last for approximately three months.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. No Sundays or holidays.
- Schedule: 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, ARRT (Radiologic Technologist), ARRT (Computed Tomography), with at least 0 years of experience. Must have valid state license, with a preference for candidates holding a compact license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fluoroscopy studies and enema studies.
- Certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), BLS.
- Skills: Proper operation of CT equipment, contrast media administration, venipuncture, and familiarity with GE and Siemens imaging systems.
- On-Call and Float: No on-call requirement. Candidates may be asked to float between x-ray and CT within scope of practice.
- Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics. Most patients are mobile and seeking follow-up care for cancer diagnosis.
- Additional Information: The facility is a magnet-level trauma center with 407 beds, providing interdisciplinary support. Candidates must commit to working three of five designated holidays and have responses ready for specific scheduling requests during submission.
