Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a mobile field unit requiring ARRT (CT)(R) certification and 2+ years of CT experience.
Details
- Mobile CT unit that travels to the field for emergency response scanning
- Patient population includes all age groups
- Uses Canon CT scanners, experience preferred but not required
- EMR: Epic (Radiant)
- 13-week assignment on 8-hour night shifts, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Monday through Friday schedule with 40 hours per week
- On-call requirements as requested
- Float required per facility policy
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, graduate of an accredited Radiology program
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- ARRT (CT)(R) certification required
- Florida State DOH license required at time of consideration
- License required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of clinical radiology experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist required
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices
- Ability to clearly communicate exams and procedures to patients
- Proficiency with computer software and basic troubleshooting
- Familiarity with imaging and patient care equipment
- Must maintain competency in a minimum of two modalities
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- No RTO permitted during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
- Maximum RTO of 8 days for the 13-week contract
- Local candidates accepted
- Unit Manager will conduct candidate interviews
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
