Job Summary:
CT Technologist in an acute care setting, specializing in the performance of computerized tomography (CT) radiological procedures on patients. This role involves preparing patients, performing imaging studies, administering contrast media, and assisting radiologists with complex diagnostic procedures. The position requires adherence to radiation safety principles and utilizing advanced imaging equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic results.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 4x10 shifts, 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., every other weekend, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT (Computed Tomography) certification, BLS certification, high school diploma or G.E.D., 2 years of CT experience, experience with GE and Phillips equipment, workstation proficiency, and valid licensure
  • Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: Requires completion of all documentation necessary for clinical and billing functions. Demonstrates excellent patient communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols. May work in a hospital setting or mobile unit, with exposure to radiation and potential contagious patients. Physical demands include moving equipment or patients exceeding 10 pounds as needed.
