- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,540 - $2,730

- Duration: 19 weeks
- Schedule: Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM EST
- Shift Pattern: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
- On-Call: 2-3 call shifts per month, with holidays/callbacks as needed per unit requirements
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center required for this hospital imaging role
- Current New York State CT Technologist licensure required prior to start
- ARRT certification from an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Telemetry experience required
- Siemens scanner experience required; minimum 6 months of Siemens scanner experience required
- Epic experience highly desired
- Injection therapy certification preferred; must be willing to complete during orientation if needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Patient-focused, compassionate, and collaborative approach to care
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity and verify exams before beginning CT imaging procedures
- Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures clearly to help them feel comfortable
- Coordinate with physicians and the healthcare team to support timely, accurate diagnostic imaging
- Insert IVs when clinically necessary for the exam
- Position and move patients safely, including those with limited mobility, using proper patient-handling techniques
- Document accurately in Epic and ensure images are transmitted correctly to PACS
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe scanning environment in the radiology department
- Follow department policies and safety procedures consistently to support excellent patient care
