Job Summary
CT Technologist position available in a healthcare facility within a full-service imaging department. The role involves performing advanced computed tomography procedures in a busy outpatient and emergency room setting, with some involvement in operative cases such as pacemakers and orthopedic procedures. The schedule consists of dayshift hours, with a focus on delivering high-quality imaging services to diverse patient populations.
Job Details
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, start date 10/12/2026, end date 01/11/2027.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in computed tomography, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, fluoroscopy permit, at least 0 years of experience, and valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with abdomen without and/or with contrast, adult outpatient, ER traffic, and familiarity with CT procedures such as biopsies, brain perfusion, and vascular CTA.
- Special Skills: Ability to perform a wide range of CT scans including head, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal trauma, and vascular imaging; proficiency in using PACS imaging systems and Philips equipment; preparing and administering contrast media; starting peripheral IVs; and working with multiplanar reconstruction techniques.
- Travel Requirements: Candidates must be willing to work in operating room environments and may be expected to float between nearby facilities; refusal to float may result in contract termination.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work 3 of the 5 major holidays, with scheduling and time-off requests to be made upfront during the application process. Candidates must respond to specific questions regarding previous work at a Providence facility and provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years prior to start.
