Job Details
- Location: San Joaquin County, California
- Position Description: Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images used for diagnosing medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately and maintains patient imaging data in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards. Performs routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manages supply inventory.
- Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology, registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)), Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice (California), Advanced Certification in CT modality (required in Oregon and Hawaii, preferred in California), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, fluoroscopy license, venipuncture certification.
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours shift duration, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must have EPIC experience. The primary start time is 1:30 PM, with variation depending on departmental needs. Candidate proficiency in at least two modalities (CT, X-ray, OR) is preferred, with support in all three as ideal.
