CT Technologist

Position Description

This is a travel position for a CT Technologist. The schedule is Thursday through Saturday during night shifts.

Unit Information

Unit: CT Scan

• Typical Staffing: 4 technologists plus a supervisor during the day; 3 technologists plus 1 night staff on weekends.
• Staffing Details:
  • Day Shift: 2 technologists (1 from 7 AM to 5 PM, 1 from 9 AM to 9 PM)
  • Night Shift: 1 technologist from 7 PM to 7 AM (Cross-trained technologist from X-ray also assists as needed)
• Equipment:
  • 2 in-house scanners (128 slice and 16 slice)
  • 1 mobile unit (64 slice)
• EMR: Meditech

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 6 months of current CT Technologist experience
• Certification: ARRT (R) (CT)
• BLS Certification

Preferred Skills:

• Night shift experience in Trauma I or Trauma II setting
• Experience with GE equipment, Meditech, and Centricity PACS

Typical Procedures

• CT Angiography (CTA)
• Abdominal and Pelvic scans
• Computed Tomography Perfusion (CAP)
