Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 4+ years of CT experience for a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, requiring ARRT (CT) certification.

Details

• Level 1 Trauma, Chest Pain, and Stroke Center with 637 licensed beds
• Teaching hospital setting in the CT Scan department
• Average of 100 patients per day
• Patient population includes inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients
• 12-hour day shifts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 40 standard hours per week
• Weekend position requiring work on all weekends
• May float to inpatient and ER units
• Uses Epic EMR, Philips PACS, and GE scanners

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of CT experience required
• ARRT (CT) and BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• IV start skills required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

• Perform CT imaging for inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients
• Facility maintains an inclusive department culture
• Orientation includes new employee orientation and 1 day of departmental orientation
• Black scrub color required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• No on-call or call-back requirements

• Returning travelers must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
