Job Summary:
CT Technologist position located in the area requires candidates to have at least two years of experience with trauma and stroke cases. The role involves operating computed tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring high-quality imaging while minimizing radiation exposure. The schedule is primarily night shifts, with a focus on technical excellence and patient safety.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Two or more years of experience in trauma and stroke imaging; Associate's Degree or equivalent; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program; Current State/District license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience operating Computed Tomography (CT) equipment and assisting during procedures, including room preparation and contrast reactions
- Additional Information: Candidate must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility location. Responsibilities include scheduling exams, entering charge codes accurately, and providing support during physician procedures. Ability to review physician orders and clinical data to produce high-quality radiographs is essential.
