    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform computed tomography studies following established protocols; differentiate between normal and abnormal anatomy and tailor exams based on patient history, protocol, and radiologist instruction
    • Administer IV and oral contrast as required per departmental and institutional protocols; monitor patients' physical and mental condition throughout procedures and document all patient data appropriately
    • Provide radiation protection for patients, self, and others through proper use of gonadal shielding and collimation where applicable
    • Perform nursing-related duties including assisting the radiologist with sterile procedures, obtaining vital signs, obtaining pertinent clinical history, and performing venous puncture
    • Identify and respond to allergic reactions or other urgent medical conditions, notifying and assisting the radiologist in treatment as needed
    • Perform radiographic (X-Ray) imaging in addition to CT duties as required
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience required
    • Ability to perform X-Ray/radiographic imaging required
    • Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification required
    • Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification required
    • Fingerprinting required during compliance process
    • Current CT-specific Skills Checklist (within the past 1 year) required
    • Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required
    • Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Toshiba CT Scanner preferred
    • Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
    • Experience in a rural or critical access hospital setting
