Must be completed within the first 90 days of employment. Must-Have: Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology Description: The Radiologic Technologist CT produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered, according to established practices and procedures on all patient populations. The technologist will exhibit superior levels of customer service. The technologist effectively operates CT equipment to produce quality images in various settings, including the Radiology Department and Emergency Department. The technologist explains procedures to patients, demonstrates and uses appropriate protocols, and obtains optimum images of specified anatomy. The technologist demonstrates effective radiation safety practices and assists the Radiologist when necessary. The technologist interacts with numerous computer programs and systems daily.
