Key Responsibilities
- Perform all CT exams and general x-ray procedures, including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
- Provide timely diagnostic imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
- Perform basic radiographic procedures including fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
- Demonstrate proficiency in CT scanning with and without contrast media, applying knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and surgical/sterile procedures
- Operate CT and PACS systems (Cerner / Change Healthcare) in accordance with facility protocols
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule as required
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
- Active New Mexico state license as a General Radiographer required
- ARRT registration with CT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- Inpatient, outpatient, general, and OB imaging experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR and Change Healthcare PACS systems
- Familiarity with biopsy and drainage procedure imaging support
- Ability to work a 5x8 schedule preferred; 4x10 may be considered if noted in submission
