    Contract | Days | Saturday, Sunday, Monday 9:30 AM – 10:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform CT imaging examinations including head, neck, perfusion, PE studies, runoffs, GI bleeds, aneurysms, and routine chest, abdomen, and pelvis exams under the direction and supervision of a radiologist or physician
    • Administer intravenous contrast injections in accordance with facility guidelines, ensuring safety for the patient, public, and self
    • Prepare equipment and scanning area for patient procedures; maintain cleanliness and proper stocking of the CT area
    • Operate and maintain CT equipment, perform quality control testing, and record maintenance in log books per departmental policy
    • Ensure radiation safety compliance in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and educate patients and family members on procedures
    • Complete all clerical duties related to patient care documentation and maintain competencies as required by department, state, and federal guidelines
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 5 years of CT experience
    • Hands-on experience with GE VCT 64 and GE EVO 64 equipment
    • ARRT(R)(CT) certification — active and non-expired
    • Current BLS certification
    • Active Virginia state licensure for Radiologic Technologist
    • Outstanding patient care skills and strong critical thinking abilities
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Previous travel assignment experience
    • ACLS certification
    • Experience assisting in the development of imaging techniques and supporting students, trainees, or residents
