Key Responsibilities

• Execute computed tomography and radiographic imaging with limited supervision, ensuring accurate image quality and proper archiving of computerized image data
• Administer contrast media under physician direction and in accordance with department policy
• Verify patient identity, review orders, follow department protocols, and continuously monitor patients throughout exams using appropriate radiation protection measures
• Effectively utilize EPIC and AGFA systems to complete and create studies
• Perform quality control on equipment and complete QC for assigned rooms
• Order, stock, and restock supplies and linens as needed

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited education program in imaging sciences
• Active Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) license required at time of hire
• ARRT registration in Radiography
• BLS certification
• Registry-eligible candidates must obtain CT certification within one year of employment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) registry
• Experience with EPIC and AGFA imaging systems
