Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine and specialized CT and X-Ray procedures across a broad patient population including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Utilize appropriate scanning protocols to demonstrate necessary anatomy and adjust technical factors according to age-specific needs in a timely manner
• Administer oral and/or IV contrast and assist physicians with procedures as needed
• Complete documentation according to specific departmental guidelines
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure readiness at all times
• Adhere to Radiation Safety and ALARA Standards as well as hospital policies and professional standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• Active ARRT CT certification required at time of submission
• Illinois IEMA license required (does not need to be active at time of submission; willingness to obtain is acceptable)
• GE equipment experience required
• COVID and Flu vaccinations required; declinations will not be approved

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Experience with Change Healthcare PACS
