Contract | 3rd Shift | 72 hours bi-weekly (alternating 20-hour and 52-hour weeks) | Expected schedule: Every Wednesday/Thursday 9:30 PM–7:30 AM; Every other weekend Friday 11:30 PM–7:30 AM, Saturday/Sunday 7:00 PM–7:00 AM | Overtime may be available on 52-hour weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scanning and general X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with facility protocols
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout imaging procedures
- Follow all radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines
- Collaborate with clinical staff to prioritize and complete imaging orders efficiently
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Radiology/CT experience required
- ARRT Radiography certification required
- Kansas Licensed Radiologic Technologist (KSBHA LRT) license required
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at time of submission
- CT certification not required, but hands-on CT experience is required
- Must have successfully completed at least 2 prior travel contracts — first-time travelers are not eligible
- Must reside more than 45 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working overnight and rotating weekend shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Familiarity with both CT and general diagnostic X-ray modalities
- Strong adaptability and ability to manage variable weekly hour schedules
