Key Responsibilities
Perform radiographic and CT procedures under the guidance of a radiologist to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries
Work effectively with patients and their families, demonstrating an understanding of age-related developmental considerations for pediatric and geriatric populations
Collaborate with other departments to support patient care and performance improvement activities
Maintain a safe, clean environment while adhering to infection control, fire and safety, disaster, and hazardous waste policies
Practice patient confidentiality and treat all individuals with respect and professional courtesy
Perform additional duties as directed by the Imaging Director
Required Qualifications
Graduation from an approved school of radiologic technology
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Current state licensure as required by the State Department of Health
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to meet ARRT continuing education requirements
Flexibility to work overtime and participate in on-call duty as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a CT-specific imaging role
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments in a clinical setting
