CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | Nights to start, with potential flexibility to move to days in January | Weekend and holiday availability required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging studies including PAN, HEAD, and ABD scans, with an expected volume of approximately 20 scans per day
- Operate GE and Siemens Somatom CT scanners across 2 imaging rooms
- Start and manage IV access for contrast administration as required
- Assist with X-ray technologist duties as needed to support department coverage
- Document and manage imaging data using EPIC and SYNAPSE PACS
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols; traveler must supply their own radiation dosimetry badge
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with trauma imaging is required
- Proficiency with GE and/or Siemens CT equipment
- Must be available and present in-state for the full week of department-specific orientation, even if initial modules are completed remotely
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; valid driver's license must be submitted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a trauma or acute care imaging environment
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR and Synapse PACS
- Comfort working in a department that may utilize Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs)
