Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Sunday–Saturday (based on facility needs) | Weekend availability required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures in a fast-paced free-standing emergency and urgent care environment
- Operate Siemens CT and X-ray equipment as well as GE Portable units
- Document and chart patient imaging information using Epic EMR
- Wear a radiation monitoring badge at all times during imaging procedures (badge must be provided by the placing agency)
- Adapt to variable scheduling needs across a 7-day week, including weekends
- Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Multimodality Technologist (CT/X-Ray)
- ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
- SCRQSA (R)(CT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Radiation monitoring badge required — must be supplied by the placing agency
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates will be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Hands-on experience with Siemens CT, Siemens X-ray, and GE Portable equipment
- Familiarity with Epic EMR charting system
- Experience working in an emergency or urgent care imaging setting
