Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic imaging in both X-Ray and CT modalities within a fast-paced clinical environment
- Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients and ensure competency in all procedures performed
- Produce diagnostic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner
- Float to like units within scope as needed to meet facility staffing needs
- Maintain current radiation badge compliance — radiation badge must be provided by the staffing agency
- Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a multimodality technologist (first-time travelers considered but not preferred)
- Active ARRT registration in both Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
- SCRQSA certification required
- BLS required
- ACLS required (pending ACLS accepted if obtained within 2–3 weeks of start date)
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic imaging in both X-Ray and CT modalities
- Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment
- Proficiency with Epic EMR and PACS
- Experience in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level 1 Trauma facility
