Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality diagnostic imaging and patient care across X-Ray and CT modalities
- Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients and ensure competency in all procedures performed
- Produce diagnostic images for interpretation at the request of a licensed practitioner
- Float to like units within scope as needed to meet facility demands
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols; agency-provided radiation badge is required — the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
- Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT registration in both Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
- SCRQSA certification required
- BLS required
- ACLS required (pending ACLS accepted if obtained within 2–3 weeks of hire)
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers considered on a case-by-case basis
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic imaging in both modalities
- Familiarity with Siemens equipment
- Proficiency with Epic EMR and PACS
