    Job Title

    Surgical Technologist (CST/OR) – Travel Contract

    Location

    Beckley, WV | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Onsite | Expected 40 hours/week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide surgical technologist support across a 7-room operating room suite serving all patient age groups
    • Scrub in on a variety of surgical specialties including General, GYN, Vascular, Orthopedic, Urology, Podiatry, and Da Vinci Robotic procedures
    • Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including Zeiss microscope, Aquablation, Holmium laser, total joints, and ortho spine systems
    • May be assigned to both the Main OR and an affiliated Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
    • Fulfill call requirements including 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month, with potential for additional weekend coverage
    • Float interdepartmentally as needed and document care using the Meditech EHR system
    Required Qualifications
    • Active NBSTSA certification required prior to start
    • BLS certification required prior to start
    • Certification or licensure required to work as a CST in West Virginia
    • Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience
    • Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential strongly preferred
    • Experience scrubbing in multiple surgical specialties including Da Vinci Robotic Surgery
    • Collaborative communication style with the ability to work effectively within a surgical team
