Key Responsibilities

• Perform 30–40+ CT scans per 12-hour shift in a very high-volume, fast-paced acute care environment
• Operate GE and Toshiba imaging equipment independently and efficiently
• May be asked to assist with patient transport based on staffing needs
• Self-schedule based on seniority; may be asked to volunteer for shifts outside contracted start times, including days and nights
• Must be available to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Weekends may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active CA CRT license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• ARRT and ARRT Advanced certification required
• CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience; community hospital experience required
• Must be able to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume setting
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application/submission
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with GE and/or Toshiba CT equipment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• First-time travelers accepted
