Key Responsibilities- Perform CT scan procedures on outpatients, inpatients, emergency room, and Level I Trauma patients in a fast-paced academic medical center environment
- Utilize CT modality to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and a positive patient experience
- Assist with specialized CT scan-guided procedures and support research patient imaging needs
- Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
- Support the teaching mission of the facility and participate in continued learning as imaging technology evolves
- Collaborate with radiologists, clinical specialists, and department leadership to ensure quality clinical care
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology program
- New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or a valid limited permit to practice in New York State
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a Level I Trauma or academic medical center setting
- Familiarity with CT scan-guided procedures and intensive care patient imaging
