We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join the Radiology team . The ideal candidate will have strong CT imaging experience, excellent patient-care skills, and hands-on experience operating Siemens Naeotom Alpha Peak and Philips Brilliance iCT 256 CT equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures according to prescribed protocols to ensure accurate and high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques to optimize CT image quality.
  • Perform daily quality-control calibration checks on CT equipment before patient studies.
  • Assess and respond appropriately to patient needs before, during, and after CT procedures.
  • Follow radiation-safety guidelines and maintain compliance with the ALARA principle.
  • Perform quality-control, quality-assurance, and safety testing.
  • Maintain accurate departmental documentation, logs, charge documents, and equipment records.
  • Report equipment issues and assist in maintaining safe and properly functioning equipment.
  • Maintain, develop, and retrieve patient images and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation.
  • Handle radiopharmaceutical-related procedures in accordance with established protocols, including ordering, receiving, verifying activity levels, and documenting doses when applicable.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of a JRCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Active New York State License (L.R.T.).
  • ARRT certification.
  • Strong CT Technologist experience.
  • Experience with CT procedures, patient monitoring, radiation safety, and Radiology workflows.
  • Strong communication and patient-care skills.
  • English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.
