Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for carrying out highly specialized imaging procedures, delivering excellent patient care, and working closely with medical staff in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves night shifts, on-call duties, and working during holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist- Confirm patient identity and exam verification adhering to department policy and procedure
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
- Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure
- Insert IVs when necessary for the test
- Position patients accordingly, utilizing safe patient handling techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation within EPIC
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
Requirements of the CT Technologist- NYS licensure (must obtain PRIOR to starting position)
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Two (2) years' experience
- Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Experience with Telemetry
- Injection therapy certification (if registered in NYS)
