Set up the imaging room according to the examination being performed. Utilize proper isolation precautions when needed. Provide basic maintenance and repairs for equipment. Participate in quality assurance activities and resolve issues related to image processing and archiving. Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules. Triage routine and emergent procedures efficiently. Potential for weekend shifts dependent on operational needs. Maintain knowledge of radiation safety standards. Ensure proper preparation and administration of contrast media as required. Experience with various imaging techniques for different anatomical regions is necessary. Float to different areas as needed based on operational requirements. Pass/fail testing will be required prior to start, including a telemetry exam. All candidates must meet strict passing criteria.
