Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Orange, CA 92868

Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Orange, California

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM). No weekends or holidays required. Optional call shifts available for interested candidates (Monday-Friday 4:30 AM - 10:00 PM, Saturday-Sunday 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM, 60-minute response time). Daily patient volume of 5-10 patients, with up to 15 PET scans per day.

Highlights:
  • Work at a 426-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
  • PET scan experience preferred; on-site training available for qualified candidates
  • Perform general nuclear medicine studies, Lexi scans, and PET/CT (non-diagnostic)
  • Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements
  • Epic charting system with free parking provided
  • Orientation shifts scheduled 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (approximately first two weeks)
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
  • Valid California state license (must be in hand at time of submission)
  • NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • PET scan skills preferred; cardiac experience especially beneficial if interested in call shifts
  • Proficiency in starting and maintaining IVs, EKGs, and PACS
  • Previous travel experience required; no first-time travelers without screening
  • Epic charting experience preferred
