Job Opportunity – Radiation Therapist – Albuquerque, NM 87102
Start Date: November 23, 2026
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM). 13-week assignment with 36 hours of orientation. Average daily patient volume of 30-35 treatments plus approximately 10 CT simulations per week.
Highlights:- Work with advanced radiation oncology technology including 21IX linear accelerator, Tomotherapy, and Big Bore CT
- Collaborate with 2 Radiation Oncology physicians in a comprehensive treatment environment
- Deliver diverse treatment modalities including 3D, SRS, SBRT, and IMRT for adult and geriatric patients
- Treat all cancer diagnoses except pediatrics in a well-established oncology program
- First-time travelers welcome in this supportive satellite oncology setting
- Gain experience with specialized procedures including CT simulation and advanced treatment planning
Requirements:- ARRT(T) - Radiation Therapy certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- New Mexico state license required (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start date)
- Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the location
