Experience in a facility with 60 beds. Level IV Trauma Center and Stroke Ready Facility. Unit information includes 2 CT Scanners shared with a control room. Average of 20 scans per shift per tech. Patient types include outpatient, emergency department, and inpatients. Common diagnoses include strokes, brain CTAs, CT perfusions, and scans of the abdomen, extremities, spine, neck, head, and pulmonary embolisms. Candidates should be comfortable working independently. Canon and Toshiba experience is highly preferred. Candidates should include experience with IV starts, CT perfusions, and biopsies or special procedures in their applications. Support within the department includes 2 CT Techs for days and 1 CT Tech after 6:30 PM. An Imaging Patient Assistant is available for transports and room turnover. A Concierge at the Imaging Desk is available for outpatient needs. A Radiology Nurse is available until 4:00 PM, and phlebotomy services are available in the hospital. A Supervisor will provide IV support after hours if needed. A Lead CT Technologist is on site during day shifts, and radiology techs are available 24/7. Technology used includes EMR and PACS systems. No floating required. Weekend rotation applies as per scheduling. No on-call or holiday work required. Shift times and schedules are established.
